Auckland, New Zealand · AI guide for professionals and NZ small business owners

Your business doesn't need more AI tools.

It needs one that actually sticks.

The tools matter less than you think. I've used Claude, ChatGPT, Manus, Gemini, Hermes, Perplexity — and what I've learned is that clarity comes first. Clarity about how AI can help you, personally, or your specific business. That's what we find together.

No pitch. No obligation. Just a straight conversation.

The problem

Sound familiar?

You've watched a year of AI hype. You've heard the same five tool names a hundred times. You've maybe tried one or two. They didn't stick. Now you're wondering whether everyone else has quietly figured this out, and no one's going to tell you straight what to actually do on Monday morning.

It's not that you don't want to move. It's that every path forward seems to lead to a six-month project, a new subscription, or a consultant who's never actually run a business like yours.

"And underneath all of that — if you're honest — there's a quieter worry: that you've already left it too late."

You haven't. But the path through this is not another webinar.

The tools matter less in the beginning. It's clarity about how they can help you — personally, or your business — that matters. And we'll find that out together.

What I do

What I actually do

I spend half a day with you, walking through how your business actually runs. Not the org chart version — the real version. Where the time goes. Where the bottlenecks are. Where a small change would make a real difference.

From that, I build a practical AI starter plan. Not a list of tools. A map of the one or two places where AI fits your business, in plain English, with a clear first step.

I've used ChatGPT, Make, Zapier, and a handful of others in my own business. Some worked well. Two didn't. I'll tell you which is which, and why — and I'll only point you at something I'd use myself.

How it works

Three steps. No surprises.

1

A free conversation

We talk through where you are, what you've tried, and whether this is the right fit. No pitch. No obligation.

2

A half-day discovery session

I come to you (or we do it on Zoom). We walk through how your business actually runs and find the highest-leverage places AI could help.

3

Your AI starter plan

A clear, practical document — the one or two changes worth making, how to make them, and what to do first on Monday morning.

4

Follow-up supportoptional

Some owners want a bit of hand-holding as they get started. I'm available for that too.

A real example

What this looks like in practice

Geoff Thomas runs a small business in Auckland. Every week, two hours of his time disappeared into admin — the kind of work that feels necessary but never moves the needle.

After one session together, that two hours became minutes.

"The tool wasn't complicated. The change wasn't dramatic. But Geoff got two hours of his week back, every week."

He told me later he'd started using that time to have proper conversations with his customers again — the kind he'd been putting off for months.

That's the work. Not transformation. Not disruption. Just a small, real change that sticks.

About

Why I do this

Three years ago I was you.

I was running Elegance Blinds & Curtains in Auckland and watching the AI conversation happen around me, with no clear idea of what any of it meant for a business like mine. So I started building. Over three years I put ten AI workflows into my own business — some for quoting, some for customer follow-up, some for the admin that was eating my evenings.

Some worked. Two didn't. I learned more from the two that didn't.

Fourteen years of sales and presenting taught me how to hold a room. Three years of building AI into a real small business taught me what actually sticks. The work I do now is both of those things, for other people's businesses.

I'm not a tech consultant. I'm not selling software. I'm a former owner-operator who figured this out the hard way, and I'd rather you didn't have to.

What's possible

What would you do with an extra day in a week that other people didn't have?

What could you achieve? What could you become? Those are real questions — because when we're done, you will have that extra time back.

We'll give you back more and more of your time. And it only gets better from there.

Feeling behindBeing ahead
"The tools matter less than you think. Clarity is what changes everything."
